ISRAELI-INTENATIONAL CERTIFIED  MANAGER OF QUALITY/ORGANIZATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Israeli-International Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational excellence 

The Israeli-International Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (IlCMQ/OE) leads and champions process improvement initiatives—that can have regional or global focus—in various service and industrial settings. A CMQ/OE facilitates and leads team efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, supports strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and helps develop measurement systems to determine organizational improvement

The Certification guidelines detailed in this guide, are compliant with the requirements of the European Organization for Quality EOQ–CS-9000-2019 and EOQ-CoS-9000-2019 (as applicable to Quality Manager).

Prerequisites for Initial Certification

The candidate for IICMQ/OE certification  shall  have  generic  knowledge  and  skills  on  a  level  which can  is  achieved  by  at least completion of full secondary school studies, university / higher education degree and additionally a minimum full-time work-place experience of 8 years, including at least 2 years in the field of quality management. In addition, candidates shall provide sufficient documentation on the content, duration and positive completion of relevant training programs.  Applicant’s earlier training courses within the area of quality management may be taken into consideration when deciding the necessary number of hours of vocational training.

If you have completed a degree* from a college, university, or technical school with accreditation accepted by IIQIE or approved by the Ministry of Education, part of the eight-year experience requirement will be waived, as follows (only one of these waivers may be claimed):

  • Diploma from a technical or trade school–one year will be waived.
  • Associates degree– two years waived.
  • Bachelor’s degree– three years waived.
  • Master’s or doctorate– four years waived

*Degrees or diplomas from educational institutions outside Israel must be equivalent and recognized in Israel

IICMQ/OE Examination

Each certification candidate is required to pass two part examination:

  • A written (multi choice)- paper and pencil or computerized online video proctored, open books, examination that consists of 60 multiple-choice questions that measure comprehension of the body of knowledge. This part is scheduled for 2 hours.
  • An open questions written presentation/solution of a case study. Based on a case description, often an organization with certain problems related to quality, the candidate shall prepare a presentation of a possible solution of a problem or a task (quality management and excellence oriented), as described in the text. This part is scheduled for approximately 40 munutes 

The examination questions and problems will be selected in accordance with the topics in Body of Knowledge.

The examinations are offered in two languages: English and Hebrew.

Examination "Pass" Criteria

Candidates will pass the written examination and the open questions examination and be eligible for IICMQ/OE Certificate if they answer correctly on total of 65% of the questions without missing a question in any topic and receive at least 70% evaluation in the open questions examination from two examiners. 

If the candidate will fail to pass this examination, he will not gain the Certificate, but will be eligible for a repeat test within the next 3 months.

 European Organization for Quality (EOQ) "Quality Manager" Registration

Additionally, and on voluntary basis, IIQIE members holding a valid IICMQ/OE certification, with an academic degree/high school diploma, who have undergone relevant professional training at an IIQIE-approved educational institution, can apply for registration in the EOQ database and receive the EOQ Quality Manager certificate.

Recertification process

The certification granted by IIQIE is valid for a period predefined by the certification scheme (usually three years). Maintaining the IIQIE certification is crucial to the

certified person professional growth. It demonstrates his continuing commitment to quality initiatives and methodologies, provides him with enhanced career

opportunities, and in some cases, could be a requirement from his current employer.

To maintain the integrity of the certification, IIQIE requires that the certified person recertify before the validity of the certification is revoked. IIQIE will grant six

months grace if an application has been submitted.

it should be emphasized that the recertification is based upon proof of continuous employment and progress in the certification topics during the certfication period.
